Hudson River School

The Hudson River School was a mid-19th century American art movement founded by artist Thomas Cole and was embodied by a group of landscape painters whose aesthetic vision was influenced by romanticism. The Hudson River School depicted images of the Hudson River Valley and surrounding areas, such as the Catskills, Adirondacks and the White Mountains. New England scenery was also included in the subject matter covered by the Hudson River School painters. Row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream, and check out our fine art painting reproductions of our extensive Hudson River School image collection.
