Bob Steeler
Bob Steeler studied art and design under the direction of Ron Taylor and sculptor Robert Howard at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
After leaving school he played drums with Doug Kershaw, David Bromberg, Randy and Michael Brecker, Wayne Kramer, Johnny Thunders, Edgar Winter, Merle Saunders, Jerry Garcia, Steven Stiles, Leslie West, and Hot Tuna.
Bob had his first solo art show in San Francisco in 1981 and has since been painting and showing here and abroad including a two month exhibition in Paris, France at Les Bains.
In 1999 he painted the largest mural in Denver, Co (29' x 137') on the outside of Heavenly Daze Brewery on I-25.
His work has been collected or commissioned by Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith, Ewan MacGreggor, Mario Van Peebles, Malcolm Bricklin, Henry Kravis, Gary Magnus and J. P. Lipson.
